NKC General Information and Terms and Conditions
NKC Breakfast Club
Location: The Cabin (all year groups)
Opening Time: 7.30 am
Breakfast options: toast, pancakes, bagels, and a selection of cereals.
NKC After School Club
Reception & Year 1: Monday–Thursday in the Reception Classroom
Year 2 and above: Monday–Thursday in the Cabin
All year groups: Friday in the Cabin
Closing Time: 6.00 pm
Snack: A light snack such as brioche, sausage rolls, or similar items, always served with fruit and vegetables.
NKC Fees
Registration Fee: £25.00 per child (one-off, non-refundable)
Breakfast Club: £7.50 (£8.00 from September 2026) per session
After School Club: £14.50 (£15.00 from September 2026) per session
Invoices: Issued on the 16th of each month (may vary slightly depending on the calendar) and must be paid within 14 days.
We accept Government Tax-Free Childcare and most childcare vouchers for Breakfast and After School Club sessions only.
A registration and permissions form will be sent each September via ParentMail and must be completed for every child attending.
Please note that a flat late fee of £10.00 will apply for the first 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, followed by an additional charge of £1.00 for every minute thereafter.

NKC Sessions, Holiday Club & Communication
Regular placements:
- Allocated at the club’s discretion, subject to ratios
- You will still be charged at the normal rate if your child is absent from Newlaithes Kids Club for any reason.
- 28 days written notification is required if you intend to permanently change or terminate your placement at Newlaithes Kids Club (charges apply). Any refund of fees will only be given at the discretion of the Headteacher.
Additional One-off places (for current NKC children only):
- Requests must be made at least 3 working days in advance
- A £2.50 admin fee per child, per one-off session (e.g., 3 sessions = £7.50)
- If a booked place is not attended, the fee is still applicable - unless a cancellation email is made 5 working days in advance
- Temporary swaps cannot be accommodated
Holiday Club:
- We are unable to accept Childcare Vouchers; all payments must be made via the ParentMail app
- Payments are non-refundable if cancellations are made with less than 28 days’ notice
- Absence on the day will still be charged
- Sessions may not run if there is insufficient demand
Communication about sessions:
- Responses; we will try to respond within 48 hours during club hours
NKC Important Reminders
Children who are not regular attendees or who have not had a session booked in advance through the correct procedure will not be admitted to Kids Club
This is essential to maintain staffing ratios and ensure that all dietary and allergy information is accurate.
